The benefits of dance are not limited
rhythmic expression. There are the physical
aspects that build strength, coordination,
and flexibility. It is intellectually stimulating,
providing avenues for sequential learning,
patterning, spatial development, right and
left brain inclusion broadening holistic
thinking. Artistically it challenges the
imagination and innovation of the dancer.
It can be social which provides team
cooperation, communication and
camaraderie. And for the individual, dance
develops listening skills, confidence and
builds self-esteem.
Our dance teacher, Alison Galindo has over
20 years of experience. Her enthusiasm
and warm nurturing approach entices even
the shyest dancer. Her amazing repertoire
flows from the imaginative movement of
children’s music to the ethnic beats of many
different cultures!
